Pain in the Neck

I’ve had some pain and numbness on the left side of my neck and jaw for months now. I’ve seen a doctor, dentist, ENT specialist and physical therapist but no one can figure out what’s wrong.

Given my history with lymphoma I’m having a CT scan this afternoon to check my lymph nodes. This involves drinking about a quart of contrast that tastes like puréed sheet rock and bananas. The scan is painless and only takes a few minutes, as opposed to a few hours for a PET scan.

I’ll get the results on Thursday.

  1. Mike,

I am sorry to hear this. I prayed as I read this today, and I will believe for you, when many times we are suffering and can’t believe for ourselves.
