Treading Water

Doing life when you don’t feel well is like treading water when you’re tired. It’s hard to keep your nose up. Forget about going anywhere; it’s all you can do to keep gravity at bay.

There are three alternatives to treading water: Swimming involves motion, i.e., energy. Floating requires buoyancy, aka, fat (stored energy). Sinking occurs when both are completely drained.

  1. Fitfully floating. No real energy but lots o fat. Not feeling good takes a lot of energy even though we don’t move much!! The future is growing shorter but shouldn’t that make it more precious?
